BSW - CAA - Morph Animation Completed

Completed Morph Animation

Bellow is my finished morph animation task! If I am being honest this took longer then I expected it too but I am very happy with the result. I think it took as long as it did to do because of one my mental ability at the moment to keep momentum in drawing each frame and two I added an extra dimension of shading to the frames as I wanted to challenge myself and show others a small bit of what I am capable of with training!

I really like how the features of each subject comes together in the animation with the eyes for example getting bigger or smaller and slowly moving to the next location it needs to be in. I particularly like how the hair on the sloth moves down to turn into my beard! Looking back through the frames it is really funny to see how the subject is deformed to become the next image.

I feel as though this task has woken me up as to what is to come in the future and each task is training me to cope better with the work and how to attack it in the most efficient way!

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic... It is more of a stylized piece rather than an actual thing people would work on and use, which is fine because it was not specified that realism was wanted. We were then tasked with creating an interior of a character given to us. Mine was an Aztec priest so I started researching what that entailed. They used to ...

BSW - CAA - Finches Concept Art - In progress

Finches Concept Art - In progress I have been continuing the finches piece after the research I carried out and I have finished another finch. I have done this one in a more cartoony style as I am exploring my choices for the animation. It has bold, consistent lines and boxed colours to make it pop and it has a big eye that makes it stand out. As of now, I am swaying towards the cartoon style more as I feel like a video for educational purpose, it will draw more people in...
