BSW - CAA - My Final Digital Painting of Zenobia - 3

 Zenobia Final Drawing 3

This is my third drawing of the city of Zenobia and shows an interior view of the main building in the second drawing. I wanted to portray scale in this image and I feel even though it may be simpler then the other drawings, it shows it scale very well.

Again with this drawing I used the lighting to create a really nice atmosphere in the building. Sticking with the night time theme of the second drawing I could create really good contrast with the shadows and lighting that is shown through the windows and doors of the building.

I really like the detail of the holes in the floor showing the stilts underneath. I like how the rail shows the scale of the building as we know they are about the height of half a human.

I feel with more time I could add more detail and texture into the drawing however the point it is at brings pure atmosphere for the viewer.

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic... It is more of a stylized piece rather than an actual thing people would work on and use, which is fine because it was not specified that realism was wanted. We were then tasked with creating an interior of a character given to us. Mine was an Aztec priest so I started researching what that entailed. They used to ...

BSW - CAA - Finches Concept Art - In progress

Finches Concept Art - In progress I have been continuing the finches piece after the research I carried out and I have finished another finch. I have done this one in a more cartoony style as I am exploring my choices for the animation. It has bold, consistent lines and boxed colours to make it pop and it has a big eye that makes it stand out. As of now, I am swaying towards the cartoon style more as I feel like a video for educational purpose, it will draw more people in...
