BSW - CAA - Maya Street Scene Development

 Maya Street Scene Details Added

Here are the images of the details added to my scene and the construction of the fishing rod. After adding these details it added a lot more depth into the scene and instantly made it for appealing as a place where people live.

I added the tea chests in different variations with a 2 stack and a group of 3 which varies the detail in the scene. They stack up really nicely paired with the barrel.

The fishing rod was fun to make as I challenged myself without a reference. Although its not a complicated thing to make, I made sure to add detail in the handle and rod by varying the thickness. I decided to make the fishing rods mounted to the posts of the banisters so they are more easily scene and looks more aesthetically pleasing to view.

I am really happy with how the weather vanes turned out in the composition of the scene and they create extra dimension and depth to the building and scene itself.

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic... It is more of a stylized piece rather than an actual thing people would work on and use, which is fine because it was not specified that realism was wanted. We were then tasked with creating an interior of a character given to us. Mine was an Aztec priest so I started researching what that entailed. They used to ...

BSW - CAA - Finches Concept Art - In progress

Finches Concept Art - In progress I have been continuing the finches piece after the research I carried out and I have finished another finch. I have done this one in a more cartoony style as I am exploring my choices for the animation. It has bold, consistent lines and boxed colours to make it pop and it has a big eye that makes it stand out. As of now, I am swaying towards the cartoon style more as I feel like a video for educational purpose, it will draw more people in...
