2D Photoshop landscape
I really enjoyed doing this task as its something I've never really done to this extent before. I could spend a lot of time continuing on it using a photo bashing method however I will wait for Chrissies next lesson as I think that is what we are going over!
I used the lasso tool to make the selections of land and the fill tool to block in the colour. I created depth by making the colour lighter on the same spectrum making in a monochrome image. I made the highlights by selecting areas and creating an adjustment layer to lighten or darken the highlight. I added the trees and wolf by making a custom brush out of a PNG image from google images. They also had there own adjustment layer each creating depth and a more realistic look to them. The moon is a elliptical sphere selection tool with blocked in colour and a brush to make the highlight and the glow behind it was made by reversing the selection of the moon and using a soft brush. Same for the foggy effect behind each layer!
