Finches Concept Art - Done

My concept art for the finches is complete. I wanted to test the different styles I could work with and I think I am going to go with the cartoony, block-colour style. I think this will be more aesthetically pleasing and easier to work with so I can get the best possible outcome for this project. I will be doing art for the island and art for the specific birds in my animation. This will help me complete the storyboard and animatic, knowing what my birds will look like.

For the last finch, I went for a more painterly style using colours softly and the blur tool to stitch them together. I like the look of this style but for an animation, I feel it will be too confusing and time-consuming.

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic...
