Finn the Finch!

This is Finn the Finch. He will be the main character for the animation and we will follow him on the journey through the Galapagos Islands. I really like the presence he brings with the colours and bold outline. This is 2d and I will need to do my best to translate the style across using various textures and filters. It will be interesting to see the outcome. I feel as though the cartoony style and bright colours will draw in the viewer and make a connection as they follow the story. I want to get a lot of emotion from Finn so I have made his eyes big and cartoony so I can easily change the shape and it will be noticeable.

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic...
