Maya Pre Viz Objects - Broken Lighthouse
Here is my model for the broken lighthouse in my scene. This will appear after the bomb is dropped onto the lighthouse and it destroyed. I like how I have modelled this and the way that I used the original model to do it. I extracted parts of the model and deleted faces, moved vertices and extracted parts to make a broken, twisted looking object. I then placed them around the base to make it look like they have fell down. Instead of destroying the parts completely I thought this way, the viewer will tell that it is still the lighthouse and it looks better overall for a film standard.
