Dissertation Proposal - Initial Ideas

For the proposal, I need to find something that I want to write about other than what I have to write about. The last essay for me was a struggle as I chose such a broad subject, time. Time has been a huge debate from the start of it! I need to find a subject that I will be able to write about enough to fill a dissertation.

Here is a list of subjects that have controversies surrounding them that I am interested in:

Cars, Gaming, Technology, Tattoo Acceptability, Marijuana Legality...

The ones that interest me the most are the tattoo debate and the marijuana legality. They are both debates that have a lot of controversies and opposing views that I can research and also get first-hand research on through interviews with people. For example, my grandad hates tattoos and he told me if he catches me smoking marijuana he will personally take me to the police station!! I would ask him about his past experiences and why he doesn't like the subject and why he does not accept the subject.

I feel more enthusiastic about the tattoo debate as a result of feeling like there is a lot more primary and secondary research I can do. There is a series where a reporter goes around the world and does this primary research into gangs, cultures, and religions which would really help me out here. Paired with the primary research I will be doing it will sure make an interesting proposal.

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic... Finches Concept Art - In progress I have been continuing the finches piece after the research I carried out and I have finished another finch. I have done this one in a more cartoony style as I am exploring my choices for the animation. It has bold, consistent lines and boxed colours to make it pop and it has a big eye that makes it stand out.
