BSW - CAAyr2 - Dissertation Proposal Progression 5

 Dissertation Proposal Progression 5

For the proposal, I had some thoughts on the subject. I have thought about the fact that I wanted to do prison tattoos as a subject however I think that it is simply just not the direction I want to go down. I have been thinking about the relationship with prisoners and jobs and realized the very niche link between that and tattoos so on a walk, I have thought of a potential alternative path to go down.

I want to stick with the relationship between jobs and tattoos however link them together using noncreative professional jobs ie; banking, accounting, mp's, managerial positions.

I think the best one to go with here is the managerial position. This path I think will be a lot easier to go down a research rabbit hole as there will be a lot of first-hand stories from people that may have been turned down by companies because of their tattoos. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic... It is more of a stylized piece rather than an actual thing people would work on and use, which is fine because it was not specified that realism was wanted. We were then tasked with creating an interior of a character given to us. Mine was an Aztec priest so I started researching what that entailed. They used to ...

BSW - CAA - Finches Concept Art - In progress

Finches Concept Art - In progress I have been continuing the finches piece after the research I carried out and I have finished another finch. I have done this one in a more cartoony style as I am exploring my choices for the animation. It has bold, consistent lines and boxed colours to make it pop and it has a big eye that makes it stand out. As of now, I am swaying towards the cartoon style more as I feel like a video for educational purpose, it will draw more people in...
