BSW - CAAyr3 - Space Station Interior

 Space Station Interior

CryoRoom, Lobby, Corridor

Modeling the interior of the space station has taught me so much about how to link different objects together. For example, connecting the walkway to the walls of the room, finding the best way to run the edges, etc.

One thing that I am most worried about is the fact that some parts of the scene are pretty high poly. I have tried to keep it down as low as possible however I will need to run tests to see if this will affect my render times too much in a negative way.

As you can see from the images, I went through many different processes when modeling the rooms. Especially with the cryo room as it starts off pretty thin, then after some thinking, another walkway had to be added around the outside, to make sense of the cryo chamber's functionality

After a lot of texture work, with added veins, this scene is going to look really good, horrific, just how I want it! I cant wait to see my scenes come alive and I am ready too move on to the UV stage.

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic... It is more of a stylized piece rather than an actual thing people would work on and use, which is fine because it was not specified that realism was wanted. We were then tasked with creating an interior of a character given to us. Mine was an Aztec priest so I started researching what that entailed. They used to ...

BSW - CAA - Finches Concept Art - In progress

Finches Concept Art - In progress I have been continuing the finches piece after the research I carried out and I have finished another finch. I have done this one in a more cartoony style as I am exploring my choices for the animation. It has bold, consistent lines and boxed colours to make it pop and it has a big eye that makes it stand out. As of now, I am swaying towards the cartoon style more as I feel like a video for educational purpose, it will draw more people in...
