BSW - CAAyr3 - Modeling Lobe'ous' House

 Modelling Lobe'ous' House

Modeling the final version of the house has been a significant learning curve that has taught me a lot about figuring out and solving the problems I come across. I am going to use the skills learned to then be able to create new models that are as clean as possible. Because my project focuses a lot on modeling, I am trying to focus on the clean topology so it shows through in my work ethic and end result.

With this model, I wanted to try a different approach to modeling than before, I would start with a cube and try to model around that however, I would run into problems with edge loops, adding in more geometry. This time I started with a plane and it eliminated the problems that I was having before. When modeling this house I wanted to make it pretty high poly so I could then add a lot of detail such as the bumpiness on the walls. I really liked modeling and overcoming problems with the house and I will take these things I have learned into consideration when modeling other objects.

BSW - CAAyr2 - Character Design Sub Tasks

Character Design Sub Tasks We were tasked to give character to things that already existed. I was given the Guggenheim museum which is a very unique building already with a lot of character. I have given the prompt military so I thought of hard angles and uniformity, which is something this building did not have... When looking at the building for a while and thinking of the prompt I saw a battleship. With the long platform and the bridge-like feature, I figured that is what I will turn it into. I am happy with what I produced here letting myself be creative and lose which I am working very hard on. The main problem that Justin had with this is that it was unrealistic... It is more of a stylized piece rather than an actual thing people would work on and use, which is fine because it was not specified that realism was wanted. We were then tasked with creating an interior of a character given to us. Mine was an Aztec priest so I started researching what that entailed. They used to ...

BSW - CAA - Finches Concept Art - In progress

Finches Concept Art - In progress I have been continuing the finches piece after the research I carried out and I have finished another finch. I have done this one in a more cartoony style as I am exploring my choices for the animation. It has bold, consistent lines and boxed colours to make it pop and it has a big eye that makes it stand out. As of now, I am swaying towards the cartoon style more as I feel like a video for educational purpose, it will draw more people in...
